Podcasts

From 2016-2025, I produced Poetry Says, where I interviewed poets about their work. I also ran my own podcasting experiments, like turning a John Forbes poem into an audio documentary, or tracking a year’s worth of reading Paradise Lost.

I’m currently a co-host on SLEERICKETS, a podcast about poetry and other intractable problems.

I recently started editing The Barron Field Experience.

A new series, Advice From an Unknown Poet, is coming soon.

I’m really good at GarageBand.

Hire me

I love turning text into words people will actually read. I’ve done copywriting and editing work for clients in healthcare, education, and the not-for-profit sector for over 10 years. I work quickly and my rates are very reasonable. I can also help you with producing, editing, and publishing your own podcast. Here’s my LinkedIn.

About me

I’m a writer and podcaster based in Melbourne, Australia.

I started writing in my late twenties while living in a converted garage in Canberra. The place came with under-floor millipedes who came out when it rained.

In 2011, I moved to Melbourne and started trying to get my work published. My first big break was getting into issue three of Rabbit, Jess Wilkinson’s now legendary poetry journal. Jess later published my first collection. She’s the best.

Between then and now, I also ran the poetry reading series Sporting Poets, co-produced the improv night Lost Weekend, starting making podcasts, and established a freelance copywriting business.

Here’s me in 2019. My hair’s longer now.
